City of Yuba City’s budget is the culmination of allocating limited resources to attain given goals and objectives.  The process is dynamic and constantly changing in tune with public interests and needs.  The budget serves as the City’s primary financial management tool and is an important expression of policy regarding public services and community priorities.  It considers the City’s short and long term organizational goals in consideration of available revenue and is utilized as both a financial plan and a communication device.
