Welcome to the Yuba City Police Department

To the members of our community and visitors:

On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Yuba City Police Department, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our presence on the Web. We use this medium, as well as a multitude of others, to share what we believe is a positive community-police team effort, which works to make our City a safe and enjoyable place to live, work, and recreate. As a team, we aggressively address situations of concern under a philosophy of community-oriented policing and problem solving.

Our Department has been positively recognized at the local, state, and federal levels of government, as well as in the private sector, for providing excellent service to our citizens. We take pride in the fact we screen, hire, train, and equip individuals who have a sincere desire to participate in public service as a calling, not just a job. These are individuals willing to use their talents to not only solve non-traditional community problems and perceptions, but also to shed new light on how police service should be rendered to those we serve—YOU.
