Utility Rate Information
Utility Rates FY 17/18

The Fiscal Year 17/18 utility rates were proposed to and approved by the City Council on June 6, 2017. They will take effect on July 1, 2017. Due to changes in the water supply and the end of the drought emergency, we are happy to announce that the water service rates for this year are less than the rates approved by the Proposition 218 process! Further information about this year's rates will be included with the July utility bill.

With parts of our water and wastewater systems dating back nearly 100 years, it is vital that the City continues to replace pipelines, upgrade facilities, and improve operations capabilities for your health and safety. These essential facilities and services are funded primarily by utility service rates – yet we are still able to provide quality water at less than 1/3 penny per gallon!
